Our Hiring Process

Interested in joining our team? We are always looking for great people to join our team, and over the years we have created a great system for finding the best people to work with.

First, fill out the online application below. Please make sure to be as complete as possible.

Once we get your application, we will call you within 1 business day for a quick phone interview. We want to get to know you, and be able to answer any quick questions you may have. During the phone interview, we may set up a time for you to come in and meet us. We will show you our shop, and introduce you to some of our team. This interview is typically between 15 and 45 minutes. If you and we feel that there may be a good fit, we may make a provisional offer of a job, and a second "working" interview will be scheduled. This is a time for you to see what the job you are applying for entails, and be able to ask questions from a team member who is doing what you want to do.

During this time, we will start a background check, an MVR check (for positions requiring driving) and drug testing.

Once all comes back ok, and we think you'll fit into our culture well, and you feel we would be a good place for you, we will officially welcome you to our team!

Customer Service Guru (CSG)

he Customer Service Guru (CSG) is primarily responsible for scheduling jobs and for answering customer inquiries via phone, email, social me

The Customer Service Guru (CSG) is primarily responsible for scheduling jobs and for answering customer inquiries via phone, email, social media, and any other method that may come out in the future. The CSG must be friendly, detail-oriented, and able to question customers effectively.

The CSG is often the customer's first interaction directly with our company; the CSG must be polite, professional, and accurate in their work. The job entails answering calls, directing customers to ask the right questions, asking the right questions themselves, and thoroughly preparing the customer for the work that will be done in their home. The best CSGs are able to appropriately set expectations of price, timing, and of our ability to clean the customer's home. This means they must be able to ask questions to really get to the heart of what customers are looking for.

The ideal candidate is happy, excited to work at a fast pace, desirous to make a difference, is a self-starter, and willing to learn. We provide the training, and while phone experience is a plus, as is working in a call center (this is a call center type job, but without overbearing rules, inflexible hours, someone breathing down your neck all the time...) it is not necessary. Computer experience is a must, more than just turning it on. Being familiar with the Google Suite is a plus, as we use Google Docs, Sheets, Pages, etc. for our company documents. If you know Word, or Office, then they shouldn't be a problem.

As we move into 2018, we will be doing more and more on social media platforms, and utilizing messaging on facebook, google, and other platforms to communicate withour customers.

Responsibilities include:

Answering incoming calls-

  -setting new appointments

-adding additional services to customer's tickets

-scheduling online requests

-answering online questions and responding to reviews, complaints and other online posts from customers or potential customers

Communicating with technicians about the routed jobs, schedules, etc.

Maintain communication with customers about rugs, orders, drop-offs, etc.

Maintain communication with management about problems, concerns, things going well.

Planning of team events, parties, prizes, birthday cards, etc (not management's strong suit...)

Pay is $12-15 per hour, depending on experience. Training pay is $10 per hour, until training is complete (we do this as fast as we can)

Hours are Monday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm. As we are a small office, we alternate days off- Wednesday or Thursday and Saturday, every other week. The Wednesday or Thursday shift is from 8am to 6pm. The Saturday shift is from 8am to 5pm.

We do take most major holidays off, have paid time off (after 6 months), and benefits such as health insurance, vision, dental are available. We also have tickets to Knitting Factory productions, Birds of Prey, Boise Zoo, and other local attractions.
