Area Rug Cleaning
Area and fine rugs have great stories- where they came from, who made them, and how they came to your home. They tell stories of people, of legends, of great skill. They are passed on through generations, and those stories only get added onto. A good wool or silk rug will last through generations, and Zerorez® can help keep that rug looking as fresh and new as the day it joined your family.
Treasure Valley's Only WoolSafe Provider
Area and other delicate area rugs can be ruined by traditional, improper cleaning methods. Improper cleaning can damage fibers, bleed colors and leave a messy residue. Zerorez® Boise is the Treasure Valley's ONLY WoolSafe Approved Service Provider. We are Boise and the Treasure Valley's preferred Certified Master Rug Cleaner firm. We have been trained and certified to take care of even the finest textiles. Our process is designed not to clean just the face yarn fibers, but to get deep into the rug and remove the hard to get out soils.
The only choice for a true clean that lasts longer.
We Treat Your Rugs with Care
1. Inspection
Our Master Rug Technician will carefully inspect your rug, looking for spots or stains and for any needed repairs before they begin cleaning your rug.
2. Dust Removal
The Zerorez® rug washing plant is equipped with a rug duster that uses compressed air and gently taps to remove dry soil, dust, sand and grit. This careful method of dust removal puts less strain on the fibers in the rug -- it's more gentle and more effective than shaking or beating the rug.
3. Washing
Your rug will be placed in a special rug washing tank, filled with Zerorez's® patented Zr Clean™. A strong pump safely flushes Powered Water® through the rug, rinsing out all sticky soils in the rug. Once this is done, Powered Water® is then cycled through the rug to loosen any stubborn soils.
4. Rinsing
The rug is then rinsed using our powerful Rug Sucker tecknology. This tool leaves the rug damp to the touch, shortening dry times by several hours.
5. Protective Barrier
The rug will be groomed, detailed and can then be sprayed with Zerorez Fiber Protector or with Microseal. Then the rug will be carefully lain to finish drying completely.
6. Final Inspection
After the rug is thoroughly dry, our Master Rug Technician will inspect it again. Then the rug will be rolled and wrapped for delivery back to your home.
7. Anti-Microbial Protector
We offer our exclusive anti-microbial protector, which can protect your rug against the germs of life. EPA registered, our residual protector keeps germs from growing in your rug. This protector will keep killing germs for up to a year, as long as your rug is kept clean!
